Colorado's 1st Congressional District Debate for 2018 General Election

Status Update

We attempted several times and in several ways to let Incumbent Democrat Diana DeGette know Republican Casper Stockham was extending an offer to debate her on our website. We hosted the Primary debate for the candidates, and Congresswoman DeGette was unwilling to join the debate. The Primary debate can be viewed on our website at https://ezdebate.com/page/2018-colorado-congressional-district-1-race or go to our homepage and click on Colorado Congressional 1st District Debate.

Once again, Casper is reaching out to DeGette without success.

You can reach out and let her know you want her to join Casper in this important General Election debate by the following methods. Campaign phone number: 303-832-1925 and Denver office (303) 832-1925.

The following questions were submitted to the candidates:

  • What is your campaign position on abortion and women's reproductive rights?
  • What is your campaign position on common sense gun control and the 2nd amendment?
  • What is your campaign position on the 1st amendment, freedom of speech and should they be limited?
  • What is your campaign position on health care and how do we keep the costs low while maintaining quality care?
  • What is your campaign position on immigration and separating adults and children at the border?
  • Other than the issues already discussed, what is the greatest threat facing our nation today and how will you address it?
  • Other than the issues already discussed, what is the most important issue facing Colorado and how will you address it?

Casper Stockham (Republican )
Participation Confirmed

Casper and his lovely wife Cheryl are parents to 3 daughter and 3 granddaughters! They are also Christian marriage coaches and they have a weekly radio program talking about Christian marriage and healthy relationships.

I have lived in Colorado since 1989 and I have seen many changes in the state. Today Denver has been listed as the number one city to live for 2 years in a row but our inner-city communities have not changed in the past 60 years.

I am running for Congress because I am tired of the lying, cheating, stealing and backroom deals that seem to always exclude the inner city and rural communities. Folks we can do much better and if I am elected as the next congressman in Colorado I will show the community what honest servant leadership looks like. – It’s a new day! It’s time to throw the bums out!

Credentials: Congressional Candidate, CEO, LPR Graduate 2014, Author, Speaker, Former Radio Show Host, Business Trainer, 6 SIGMA Change Agent, Financial Services Specialist, Business Analyst, Internet Reputation Specialist.
