EzDebate is challenging each candidate to answer questions for their constituents. We will be posting the recorded answers so voters can view them.
The following questions were submitted to the candidates:
My name is Dave Saulibio from Colbert, Washington. I am running for Congress against Cathy McMorris Rodgers.
I am fighting a stacked deck. This 2018 election for Congress is an auction. Cathy raised $2.6 million. Lisa Brown, the democrat, raised $1 million. That’s a lot of IOUs.
I am a conservative populist Republican who believes 100% in President Trump. The guy needs disciple-followers like me in Congress to pass his Make-America-Great-Again agenda.
I am free to help President Trump 100% because I have no IOUs.Not in step with the MAGA agenda, Cathy McMorris Rodgers wants Trump to walk back his tariffs. Cathy also disfavors Trump's fair trade position on TPP, NAFTA, and KORUS.
Lisa Brown opposes Trump’s Tax Cut and Jobs Act. No surprise.
In contrast, I trust 100% the business smarts, keen situational awareness, and sharp instincts of President Trump. The man knows what he’s doing.
I wasn’t born yesterday. A veteran, I enlisted in the infantry and left the Army, a captain. I have a degree in Political Science and a Bachelor in Business Administration. I retired from Boeing a 737 airplanes production manager. I own a business.
Unlike Cathy and Lisa, I strongly support term limits for Congress, the best way to drain the swamp. We need to fix our $21 trillion debt now before it becomes a crisis. Nothing else will matter if we don’t fix our debt.
