12 Ways We Make Americans Great Again:
Our love for the State of Washington began when my father fell in love with this great State after he graduated from college and began his career traveling in his sales. What he also learned is that this was the state of his birth, having been born in Toppenish. My mother was born in “Chuki” Chuquicamata, Chile. She was reluctant to leave her sunny California, but likewise in time fell in love with her new home as she began to have a family. Together they raised a family of 8 children, 6 boys and 2 girls, while engaging in the normal activities of the time with school, church, sports and social life. Each of us was expected to set goals yearly, get an education, with the boys having the extra requirement to become Eagle Scouts. Quitting was never an option, doing your best was just expected. We were always reminded when we went somewhere, “Remember who you are!” Summer days in my youth were filled with exploring in the nearby Dishman Hills, swimming all afternoon at the neighborhood Chester Hills pool, or just playing with friends. The expectation was that we would be home by dinner, and if you missed dinner time, well tough luck you were grounded and experienced a round of tough luck, the kitchen was closed. Learning responsibility and accountability came early. Raising a family of 10 on a limited budget was a difficult challenge. My parents experienced prosperous times and some most difficult financial times. We learned by observation and direct experience what it meant to live on faith. Mom created many dishes out of seemingly very little, and yes we were expected to eat everything. Hand-me-downs were the norm. Back to school shopping, really meant that we recycled what had been worn the prior year that others had grown out of, including the newer clothing that was a treat as it came into the home from other families. Being thrifty was expected. We did OK. Each of us kids accomplished what was expected, the boys became Eagle Scouts, everyone graduated from college, having put ourselves through school having worked summer jobs and learning to save. Each of us today is working on adding to the legacy we have been provided from generations that preceded us. Our history has been rich and rewarding. Not always easy but earned as we have learned to overcome many of our challenges that life’s seems to throw your way. Providing service to others was always a good way to move beyond yourself and begin to learn what others might be experiencing. We are not perfect, we are human and are doing right if we remember the many life lessons taught by our parents, Gordon and Gloria. They would always provide us and our friends with the simple reminder, that “the best is yet to be” giving us hope and learning to exercise Faith in a brighter future. Sadly, many of the experiences of my youth cannot be learned today. It is time to stop the erosion of what is undermining our family traditions.
LET US ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT THE BEST IS YET TO BE

You deserve safety so that you can provide the very best for your family. I have worn a uniform for over thirty years. I have defended America and our communities my entire adult life and I will defend you in the Senate. The establishment has neglected us for too long, and now they obstruct President Trump from keeping his promises to you. Career politicians do not respect you or your values. Pull the plug, Drain the Swamp!
We need to build a wall on the southern border to keep out drug cartels, gang members and terrorists. Border security is national security. You deserve to have the ability to defend yourself and your loved ones. That’s why I am a staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment and lifetime member of the NRA.
You deserve low-cost energy to heat your homes and drive your vehicles. America should be energy independent, and we do not need to buy oil from countries that use our money to fund terrorism. We have been paying a national gas tax for decades. The federal government owes us well-maintained roads so that we can drive to and from work and take care of our families.
You know how to best spend your hard-earned dollars. The tax cuts need to be permanent. The federal government needs to live within its means, and politicians need to stop taking so much money from our families.
We can keep our families safe from foreign enemies by having the strongest military in the world. Our military readiness decreased drastically during the last administration, and we need to restore it quickly. Furthermore, we should never go to war unless we are committed to winning. If you agree that things can be better, I ask for your vote.
Roque “Rocky” De La Fuente is living proof that the American Dream can be achieved by those who are inspired to pursue it.
Rocky was born in 1954 in San Diego, California. His parents, Roque and Bertha, instilled the deep sense of responsibility toward others that Rocky still holds so dear. This message of “service to others” was reinforced by the Carmelites of the Sacred Heart, The Daughters of the Holy Spirit, Dominican Pillars, Legionaries of Christ, Marist and Jesuits, who provided his education during his formative years.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Physics and Mathematics from Instituto Patria and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He then studied Business Administration / Accounting at Anáhuac University and the University of San Diego.
On January 29, 2016, Roque “Rocky” De La Fuente received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa from UNESCO, the Institute of Advanced Studies Foundation Le Franc and CONALMEX, for being an outstanding international business ambassador with a phenomenal track record.
Rocky’s studies in Mexico and the United States taught him to appreciate cultural differences. While he noticed that people’s perspectives may differ based upon the environments they were raised in and the opportunities they were presented, he quickly realized that the differences did not matter; they simply added to the enrichment of the world around him. As a result, Rocky became a “people person;” someone who truly loves spending time learning, teaching and sharing thoughts with others.
Rocky was born an entrepreneur. He started his first business at the age of nine and was employing classmates by eleven. Then, as a young adult, he entered the automotive business in 1974.
Rocky’s first jobs in the automotive industry were selling cars for Mazda and Toyota dealerships in El Cajon, CA. Less than two years later, he became General Sales Manager of Kearny Mesa Volkswagen. Two years after that, he founded American Automotive Management & Services, Inc. and acquired his first new car franchise. He added 27 more over the next 16 years, including Alfa Romeo, American Motors (AMC), Audi, Cadillac, Chrysler, Daihatsu, Dodge, Dodge Truck, GMC trucks, Honda, Isuzu Jeep, Lincoln, Mazda, Mercury, Merkur, Oldsmobile, Peugeot (3), Plymouth, Pontiac, Porsche, Renault, Subaru (2) and Volkswagen (2), for a total of a total of 28 new car franchises in California.
At the age of 28, Rocky was recognized by his peers and elected Chairman of the National Dealer Council for the third largest Automotive Company in the world at the time.
When Rocky wanted to explore new opportunities, he sold 27 of his automotive franchises and kept 1: Cadillac, which symbolized the best that America had to offer. He renamed his business American International Enterprises Inc., dba American International Realty. He purposely used “America” in the names as an expression of his appreciation for his country.
If you need more proof, Rocky wanted to fly a large American flag over his Cadillac dealership, but the city’s governing body emphatically said, “No!” Rocky refusing to back down, battled in court for 9 years before winning the right to honor our country with what has become a prominent landmark; a 3,000 square foot flag flying from the tallest free-standing flagpole in the United States.
Because of his heritage and deep connection with the Latino community, Rocky reached out to Mexico during its financial crisis, which arose in 1982 when its banks were nationalized by presidential decree. He opened 11 currency exchanges to allow free-flowing trade between Mexico and the United States. As part of this network, he simultaneously opened seven offices in California including Los Angeles (3), San Ysidro (3) and Calexico, as well as four in Texas in the cities of El Paso (2), Laredo and McAllen. Over the next five years, Rocky founded three U.S. banks; one being a National Bank approved by the OCC and two State Charter Banks approved by the California Banking Commission and the FDIC.
Rocky knows quite a bit about our borders as well. He became the first citizen to exchange private land with the State of California; trading 787 acres to be used in the construction of the Donovan Penitentiary in Otay Mesa in return for 310 acres next to where an international border crossing was being planned. He simply did not think that it was appropriate for someone’s first glimpse of the United States to be a prison complex. Roque was honored to be the first person to cross the Otay Mesa Border Crossing when it opened in January 24th, 1985.
His real estate development expertise led to appointments by the City of San Diego to the “Annexation Task Force” to annex County of San Diego lands to the City of San Diego, as well as the Otay Mesa Developing Council.
In that same year, he started the De La Fuente Business Park, founded National Enterprises Inc., and acquired the tallest building in San Francisco (circa 1910). Rocky also bought other prized properties in Los Angeles, Santa Monica, San Diego, San Diego County, Auburn, El Cajon, Hemet, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, National City, Stanton, and Yorba Linda, California as well as in Cincinnati, Ohio, Cohoes, New York, Hartford, Connecticut, and West Palm Beach, Florida. In addition, Rocky owns residential complexes in California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Texas and Virginia.
Rocky has developed assisted living facilities in Los Angeles (San Pedro) and Lemon Grove, California, to care for seniors who are in need. He is well-known for his generous support of charities and military veterans’ organizations through our Nation.
To provide a further perspective on the breadth of Rocky’s accomplishments, at the age of 20, he earned (and holds) a Single Engine License (SEL) from the FAA. He has also acquired and continues to hold many Automobile Dealer Licenses in California. Finally, his companies hold various business licenses in many states, including a Real Estate Brokers License in California. While some accomplished business people try to launch themselves into the political world, Rocky has been politically active for decades. He considers it his civic responsibility and a way to give a voice to the Hispanic Americans and other minorities, who are too often ignored.
In 1992, Rocky was the first Hispanic American to serve as an At-Large Delegate (i.e., Superdelegate) for the State of California at a Democratic National Convention, which he did in 1992 at the request of Willie Brown, who was Speaker of the California State Assembly at the time. He was joined by Dianne Feinstein, Kathleen Brown and Phil Angelides, who were all well-recognized among the Democratic ranks. In addition, Governor Jerry Brown, former Governor Gray Davis and former Lieutenant Governor Cruz Bustamante have benefitted from his support and have been included among his friends for over 20 years.
Rocky’s greatest joy in life is his five children, Roque III (RD3), Katayoun (Katita), Ricardo (Ricky), Kassandra (Kassy) and Kamila (Kami), whom he raised with his only wife, Katayoun. He has always wanted to build a better world for them and for future generations. That desire remains as the driving force behind his campaign: To build a better world for his children and for the children of the world.
Rocky is truly a man of the people. He does not have to pretend to understand the perspectives of minorities because he is one.
As you come to know Rocky, you will find that his word is his bond; something quite unique in the political and business worlds today. His opinions are authentic and raw just like yours. When he speaks, he speaks for you; giving you a voice in the direction of our country. Join the conversation, Rocky is listening.

Born in Camas Washington, Joey now resides in Vancouver Washington. He comes from Irish and Japanese descent. Gibson was a former high school football coach who currently flips houses for a living.
Joey is a well known political activist who began the organization Patriot Prayer in 2016. His right-leaning marches and rallies in liberal areas have drawn large crowds of Patriot Prayer followers and counter groups.
On April 29, 2017: Patriot Prayer planned to counter protest a leftist parade on 82nd ave in Portland, Oregon. They created a security risk and shut it down.
At one of his rallies where Joey spoke of his run for Senate, " The crowd gave several standing ovations and erupted into chants of "U-S-A" as the newly-minted candidate railed against a "rigged and broken" political system and raised the promise of a conservative revolution in the Pacific Northwest." (The Oregonian)
Gibson supports a pathway to citizenship for non-criminal illegal immigrants. He supports decriminalization of marijuana and same-sex marriage. Gibson advocates for the establishment of term limits for the U.S. Congress, implementation of a national sales tax, and an abolition of the Internal Revenue Service. He opposes what he describes as undue influence of the pharmaceutical industry on healthcare in the United States.
During a March 2018 campaign rally in Spokane Valley, Washington, Gibson expressed opposition to Antifa, a group that frequently protests at his events, and said regarding white nationalists, "I would say the same thing to them that I would say to any black nationalist or Mexican nationalists [sic] group, we have to drop the identity of politics and focus on what is on the inside." He has said freedom of speech is a central element to his platform.
Political experience:
I’m 49 and have been a resident of Snohomish County, Washington for the last 20+ years. I currently work in sales and have previously been a small business owner in the Edmonds area for 12+ years. I have run locally for Fire District Commissioner and County Charter Review Commissioner. I have volunteered and worked on other candidate campaigns for offices such as County Executive, US Senate, and various other congressional, state and local campaigns.
I have been a Libertarian Party member since 2016 and a 2018 endorsed candidate by the Libertarian Party of Washington State. I'm currently the Vice Chair and Political Director for the Snohomish County Libertarian Party. My previous political experience is mostly from my involvement in the Republican party since 2008 as a Delegate, Precinct Committee Officer, Legislative District Chair and Snohomish County Republican Party Executive Board Member. In January 2016 I left that party in favor of membership in the Libertarian Party. The Libertarian Party allows me as an individual to be independent and resolved in contrast to my experience in the GOP.
I look forward to getting to know so many of you, and you getting to know me. Thanks for your consideration!
